Temple of the Silver Fish
Overlooking the Fountains district, on The Lakeshoe Terrace, stands the Temple of the Silver Fish, an architectural marvel of Laelith. This sacred place, with the appearance of an aquatic sanctuary, is an ode to life and serenity, embodied by the Silver Fish, the patron deity of the Temple.
The Temple, clad in a layer of shining silver, sparkles under the sun's rays, dazzling passersby. It is surrounded by lush gardens, adorned with Fountains and Pools where aquatic creatures swim peacefully. Water, omnipresent, is conveyed through a complex system of hydraulic pumps, the work of the great gnome architect Gaelnor.
The main entrance, the Dolphins Arch, is flanked by two silvered bronze dolphins over ten meters high. Behind this arch, one discovers the Primordial Pool, a wide shallow basin, symbol of the genesis of life. Further on, the Elemental Pool, with its dark waters, reminds us that knowledge requires in-depth research.
The heart of the Temple, the Damp Temple, is adorned with frescoes celebrating the diversity of aquatic creatures. This is where the High Priest celebrates the major services. At the center of the Temple, the Well of the Believer houses a platinum statue of the mythical Silver Fish, which emerges during heavy rains, offering a divine spectacle.
The Temple of the Silver Fish is more than just a place of worship. It is a haven of peace, a meeting and exchange place, where every visitor can feel the harmony that exists between man and nature.
