The Snow Guardhouse is a military building located in The Study district, on The Terrace of the Mist, in Laelith. It is the main guard post in this part of the city, ensuring the safety of scholars, students, and residents of the district.

The ground floor of the post includes a reception hall, where an Ogul and two guards are ready to meet the needs of the residents. A Duty Room is also present, where taxpayers come to pay their taxes. This room can also be used as an interrogation room if needed. A kitchen allows the guards to prepare meals for their comrades and any potential prisoners.

The first floor houses a weapons room, where the guards train in weapon handling. A infirmary is also present, with two beds and medical supplies for minor injuries. A “luxury” cell houses high-profile prisoners awaiting transfer to the General Prison. Finally, the office of the Rahel, the Chief of the post, is a comfortable room where he establishes patrol schedules and receives important individuals.

The Snow Guardhouse has well-stocked defense reserves, with weapons, ammunition, and traps. An alarm system is used to call for reinforcements in case of emergency. A lever in the office of the Rahel allows for the manipulation of a Semaphore on the roof of the post, associated with a release of balloons to signal critical situations.
