Drapers Guild

Nestled in the heart of the terrace of the Hand that Crafts, in the bustling Dyers district, lies the Drapers Guild. Its walls of grey stone are adorned with carved details that testify to the skill of the artisans of Laelith. The entrance is topped with a lintel where the guild's coat of arms is engraved: two crossed weaving shuttles on a background of golden cloth.

Inside, some drapers chosen for one month are busily working on their looms. Fabrics of all colors and textures are carefully arranged on shelves, ready to be sold or transformed into clothing, hangings, or rugs. The air is filled with the smell of dye and fresh fabric.

The Drapers Guild is a meeting place for textile artisans. This is where they come to exchange techniques, negotiate prices, or simply share a moment of conviviality after a long day's work. Despite the odorous nuisances of the district, the guild remains a place of prosperity and creativity, where the art of weaving is celebrated and respected.

The Drapers Guild is an emblem of the Dyers district, a symbol of the flourishing craftsmanship of The Hand That Crafts. It contributes to the economic vitality of Laelith, by providing quality fabrics to the city and beyond.
