The Sanguine Guardhouse is an imposing military building located on The High Terrace of Laelith, precisely at the Peaks' Shade Corner. This bastion of security, which watches over the most prestigious district of the city, is a symbol of the power and authority of the God-King.

The guardhouse is a robust structure, built of cut stone, with thick walls and watchtowers at each corner. Its entrance is guarded by a large wrought iron door, topped with the emblem of the God-King. Inside, there is a central courtyard where the guards train, surrounded by various facilities: the armory, the infirmary, a luxury jail for high-profile prisoners, and the office of the Rahel.

This is where about sixty guards and four collector-guards reside, who ensure the security of The High Terrace and enforce the strict application of the laws. They regularly patrol the district, monitor the comings and goings, and are always ready to intervene in case of disturbance.

The Sanguine Guardhouse is a place of constant tension, where guards and collectors coexist in a sometimes explosive atmosphere. However, it is also a place of discipline and order, where each guard knows that they have a crucial role to play in maintaining peace and security in the city of Laelith.
