The Abbesse-Stew

Nestled in the heart of The Cavalry district, on The Lakeshoe, stands a rustic and welcoming building, known as “The Abbesse-Stew”. This inn, despite its location in the poorest district of Laelith, is renowned for its generous cuisine and warm atmosphere.

The Abbesse-Stew is a two-story building, with gray stone walls and a red tile roof. A wooden sign, adorned with a steaming pot, hangs above the entrance door, inviting passersby to come in and warm up and eat. The interior is just as rustic, with exposed beams, tables and benches made of solid wood, and a large fireplace that warms the entire main room.

The Abbesse-Stew is especially known for its soup, a house specialty. Prepared with love by the innkeeper, this soup is a mix of seasonal vegetables, meats, and fish caught in the Lake Altalith. This dish, simple but tasty, is very popular with the locals, but also with travelers and passing merchants.

Despite its location in a poor district, The Abbesse-Stew is a place of conviviality and sharing, where everyone is welcome. It's a little corner of warmth and comfort in the midst of the harshness of The Lakeshoe.
