The Jolly Wheeler
Located in the heart of The Fishery, on The Lakeshoe, “The Jolly Wheeler” is an iconic Tavinn of Laelith. Nestled on Criers Square, this weathered wooden building always seems ready to welcome traveling souls. Its sign, depicting a jovial carter, gently sways in the wind, inviting passersby to come and enjoy a good fish soup or a glass of local wine.
Inside, the atmosphere is warm and lively. The laughter and songs of sailors, fishermen, and merchants echo against the wooden walls, while the fire crackles in the hearth. The tables are always crowded, and generous dishes, prepared with the catch of the day, are served. The house specialty, the lake fish soup, is renowned throughout the city.
“The Jolly Wheeler” is a meeting and exchange place, where the different cultures of Laelith mingle and blend. Travel stories and news from the outside world are shared, giving this Tavinn a unique atmosphere. But beware, while the place is friendly during the day, it can become more dangerous at night, when thieves and assassins guilds take over the place.
