Temple of the Firebird

The Temple of the Firebird, located in the district of the Bird on the terrace of the Hand That Crafts, is an iconic place in the city of Laelith. This religious building, with its impressive architecture, is a true gem of the city. Its inclined spire, symbolizing a bird's beak, dominates the urban landscape, visible from afar by all inhabitants and pilgrims.

The interior of the Temple is just as magnificent. The grand choir, topped with a dome of flaming stained glass, is the religious center of the building. The walls of this room are adorned with countless mosaics, telling the story of the martyrs who died to spread the Holy Heat, name often given to their faith by the followers of the Firebird.

The Temple is also known for its Initiate Portal, a remarkable architectural curiosity made of shining quartz. The sculptures that adorn this arch seem to be animated with a slowed life, creating a fascinating spectacle.

Every week, the high priest of the temple delivers a sermon from the Head of the Bird, a room whose exterior aspect reproduces the head of a huge bird of prey. This sermon is underscored by a powerful fiery eruption from the Eternal Brazier, a spectacle that attracts many visitors.

The Temple of the Firebird is a major place of worship in Laelith, a place of spirituality and devotion, but also a place of meeting and sharing for the community. A place that, like the city itself, is full of life and mystery.
