Windowless Tavinn
Nestled in the heart of The Dispensation district, on The Terrace of the Hand That Crafts, the Windowless Tavinn is a place as mysterious as it is fascinating. Accessible by a staircase that descends to a den wedged between the Terrace and The Cloaque, this Tavinn is a refuge for a diverse clientele of rogues, bandits, smugglers, mercenaries, and intelligent creatures from the depths.
Its enigmatic name comes from its unique architectural design: it has no windows. A single door opens onto a blind space, where daylight never penetrates. It is a place of absolute neutrality, where enemies and allies can meet safely, as long as they respect the golden rule: all confrontations are strictly forbidden.
At the head of the Windowless Tavinn is Illida, a woman of eternal youth whose origin remains a mystery. With the help of Gord and Sord, a massive half-ogre and half-orc, she ensures the rules are respected. Offenders are either expelled or they disappear without a trace.
The Windowless Tavinn is an emblematic place of Laelith, a den of shadows where intrigues and alliances are hatched, a place where every visitor can feel the pulsating heart of the city.
