In the heart of the the Dispensation district, on the terrace of the Hand That Crafts, the Windowless Tavinn is a place as mysterious as it is fascinating. Accessible by a staircase that descends to a hideout wedged between the terrace and the Cloaque, this tavinn is a refuge for a diverse clientele of rogues, bandits, smugglers, mercenaries… and intelligent creatures from the depths.

Its enigmatic name simply comes from its unique architectural design: being underground, it has no windows. Its single door opens to a blind space where daylight never penetrates. It is a place of absolute neutrality, where enemies and allies can meet safely, as long as they respect the golden rule: all physical or magical confrontations are strictly prohibited.

At the helm of the Windowless Tavinn is Illida, a stunning woman with seemingly eternal youth, whose origin remains a mystery. With the help of Gord and Sord, massive half-ogre and half-orc, she ensures the rules are followed. Offenders are expelled, with or without leniency – disappearing without a trace can be considered a form of expulsion.
