Located in the heart of The Dwarvery, in the the Terrace of the Hand That Crafts, Master Koshro's Workshop is a true institution. This building, like its neighborhood, is built to the scale of dwarves (people over five feet four inches might not feel comfortable there…), with a robustness and meticulousness that testify to the skill of these craftsmen. The facade of the workshop is adorned with bas-reliefs depicting scenes of dwarven craftsmanship, paying homage to the rich history of this people.

From the threshold of the workshop, one is immediately enveloped by the smell of worked wood and varnish. The sound of tools on wood, the creaking of stretched ropes, and the breath of organ pipes create a sort of melody, reflecting the incessant activity that reigns in this place.

The workshop is dominated by the Splendiferous Organ, a masterpiece by Koshro. This majestic instrument, with its impressive dimensions, is a true spectacle for the eyes as well as the ears. The precious wood panels that compose it are adorned with allegorical scenes dedicated to the four elements, demonstrating Koshro's talent as a sculptor. The holy melodies played on this organ are even said to have the power to facilitate communication between believers and their favorite deity.

Every evening, after the workday (so quite late!), music lovers can come to admire the sound of the Splendiferous Organ, as master organists give lessons to companions – organists already confirmed – while their apprentices can learn the art of organ building. Master Koshro, it should be noted, insists that the melodies played be equally divided between “fiery,” “aquatic,” “earthly,” and “airy” music.

The Master Koshro's Workshop, an emblematic place of the Dwarvery, is thus also a key element of the cultural richness and diversity of The Hand That Crafts and all of Laelith.
