Ironworkers Guild
Located in the heart of The Terrace of the Hand That Crafts, in the Kingdoms district, the Ironworkers Guild is an iconic building of Laelith. Nestled at the address of the Smithing Ladder, this dwelling is much more than a simple place of residence.
The building, robust and imposing, is built of volcanic stone, a typical material of the region. Its facade is adorned with bas-reliefs depicting scenes of forging and metalworking, testifying to the skill and passion of the craftsmen who live there. The entrance, framed by two statues of blacksmiths at work, leads to a reception hall where a large solid wood counter stands.
Behind this counter, one can access the guild's workshops, where the hammering of the hammer on the anvil and the crackling of flames resonate. Here, the ironworkers skillfully and precisely shape armor pieces, tools, ornaments, and many other iron and steel objects.
On the first floor, there are the Offices of the master ironworkers and the meeting rooms where the guild's important decisions are made. The top floor is dedicated to the ironworkers' lodgings, simple but comfortable rooms, testifying to the solidarity and fraternity that reign within the guild.
The Ironworkers Guild is a place of intense work but also a place of life, where traditions and the know-how of the elders are perpetuated. It is a true symbol of vitality and The Prosperity of The Hand That Crafts.
