Ironworkers Guild

In the heart of the the Terrace of the Hand That Crafts, in the district of the Kingdoms, the headquarters of the Ironworkers Guild is a typical building of Laelith. This imposing structure built of volcanic stone is located on the Smithing Ladder.

Its facade is adorned with bas-reliefs depicting scenes of forging and metalworking, showcasing the skill and passion of the blacksmith artisans. The entrance, flanked by two statues of blacksmiths at work, opens onto a reception hall where a large solid wood counter stands.

Behind this counter, one can access the guild's training workshops, where the sound of hammers on anvils echoes and the flames of the forges crackle. Here, master blacksmiths teach apprentices to skillfully and precisely shape pieces of armor, tools, ornaments, and all sorts of metal objects, primarily in iron or iron alloys.

On the first floor are the offices of the master blacksmiths and the meeting rooms where important guild decisions are made. The top floor is reserved for the apprentices' accommodations: simple but comfortable rooms, reflecting the solidarity and fraternity that prevail within the guild.

The Ironworkers Guild is a place of intense work but also a place of life, where the traditions and skills of the ancients are perpetuated. Well – except for the skills of those ancients who, about twenty years ago, went on to create the Guild of Armorers. Since then, Ironworkers and Armorers have been in litigation before the royal-divine administration and before the bodies of the Firebird (since, fortunately, both guilds depend on this same Temple!).

But the legal debates do not prevent the headquarters ot the Ironworkers Guild from being a symbol of the vitality and prosperity of The Hand That Crafts.
