Mori-Oussev House
The Mori-Oussev House is a private building located in the Killhem Tree Impasse, at the heart of The Remembrance Workshops, on the the Terrace of the Hand That Crafts in Laelith.
The house is inhabited by Polierda Mori-Oussev, a cantankerous old woman, her son Buttermount Mori-Oussev, a simple-minded man, and Athanase, their handyman. The three are not well-liked in the impasse due to their shady dealings and their involvement with the Garden Gleaners Guild.
The ground floor of the house is a cluttered mess filled with antique, weathered sideboards, while the first floor houses a large living-dining room, still properly furnished, and the two sparsely equipped bedrooms of Polierda and Athanase. The top floor is the domain of Buttermount Mori-Oussev, filled with his childhood toys, once shiny and joyful, now all broken, aged, and battered.
The Mori-Oussev House is thus a place so full of secrets and malice that no one in The Remembrance Workshops likes to frequent its inhabitants too much.
