You who are looking for an uneventful place that could accommodate you for a few nights, in complete discretion, or even allow you to secretly set up a safe headquarters. This place exists and you have just found it: at the Bréchets, on the second floor, three rooms for rent await you. They are not luxurious, far from it. But who could spot you in a place like this? You who are looking for an uneventful place that could accommodate you for a few nights, in complete discretion, or even allow you to secretly set up a safe headquarters.  Over fifty years ago, a burglar named Macavitti made the headlines of the judicial gazette in Laelith. This villain had specialized in the theft of jewels that he would take “at the source”: from the hairdressers of wealthy coquettes, from the fingers of overly demonstrative nobles or from the bottom of the coffers of the wealthy. For a few years, he staged incredible tricks, twisted scams and the most daring robberies. His career came to an abrupt end when a guard placed a crossbow bolt in his left eye during a hostage situation. Far from being congratulated, the brave soldier was severely lectured: “He had to be taken alive! We don't know where his lair is!" The spoils of years of plunder were never found. Ah! If only the Bréchets knew that the bricks behind the hearth which badly heats their slum hides rubies, gold rings (a little melted) and necklaces of pearls, there is no doubt their lives would be changed! Over fifty years ago, a burglar named Macavitti made the headlines of the judicial gazette in Laelith.
