The Shell of the Gods

 General overview

It's a candy store run by Marsile Goyette and Seraphine Dancingeyes. They preserved the massive fireplace from the old cutlery workshop, whose sweet-smelling smoke now imbues the surrounding steppedstreets. Its “Pilgrim's roudoudous“ attract many fans on the terrace – it also adorns the shop's sign.

 Seraphine in her kitchen

Séraphine Dancingeyes, small, plump and playful, practiced all sorts of trades before getting into business with Marsile Goyette, penniless owner of a cutlery shop in distress.

 Floorplan

Her talents as a cook quickly breathed new life into the shop, which abandoned scrap metal and its “The good blades” name in favor of the sweets, candies and other liquorices that Seraphine successfully concocts in her back kitchen.

 An irresistible sales team

As one might suspect, the children living in the cul-de-sac kept pestering her; so she made a deal with them: to attract the passers-by and in exchange for a few daily sweets, they play the barkers in the nearby steppedstreets, and even a bit beyond.

She sometimes entrusts them with a few deliveries to make in the neighborhood, for which she pays them one lithal, regardless of the distance covered.
