The Inner Palace is a majestic building that stands at the heart of The High Terrace, the most prestigious district of the city of Laelith. This two-story fortress is the private sanctuary of the God-King, a place of mystery and power where only the most devoted are allowed to enter. The entrance is guarded by an imposing bronze door, facing the Lake Altalith, and watched over by five purple guards.

Beyond this door, the Inner Palace unfolds around a lush inner courtyard, protected by a wrought iron gate to prevent any intrusion. The apartments of the God-King are isolated from the rest of the palace by a thick stone wall, creating an intimate sanctuary within the grandeur of the palace.

The Inner Palace houses a hundred devoted servants, who live and work in this sacred place, cut off from the outside world. Among them, there are maids, cooks, gardeners, hairdressers, and costumers, all led by the Guardian of the Gate, Rez Lockel.

The Inner Palace is also the residence of Malice, the jester of the God-King, and of Puss Goodface, the Holy Healer in charge of the sovereign's care.

This sacred and mysterious place is a testament to the grandeur and power of the God-King, a sanctuary where silence and devotion reign.
