Beacon Towers
The Beacon Towers are an enigmatic and fascinating structure located in the prestigious district of The High Terrace in Laelith. This construction, composed of thirteen towers six meters high, is a mystery to the inhabitants of the city, as its origin and function remain unknown. The towers are made of dark stones veined with silver, giving them an austere and majestic appearance.
Each tower of this mysterious monument has a similar structure: an open porch on the ground floor leading to a staircase that turns left and leads to a floor devoid of furniture. The walls of some rooms are made of polished metal, sometimes reflecting indistinct and enigmatic images. These apparitions, although rare and generally visible in the early evening, have a disturbing effect on those who observe them, often leading them to be interned at the Lazaret.
The Beacon Towers, despite the warnings, inevitably attract the curious and adventurers, offering a tempting challenge to those seeking to unravel the mysteries of Laelith. However, they are also The Theatre of unexplained phenomena, such as the disappearance of a student during a school visit, adding an additional layer of mystery to this already elusive structure.
In short, the Beacon Towers are a symbol of the unknown and the enigmatic in Laelith, a challenge for curious minds and a constant reminder that this city harbors many secrets.
