Haughty nobles parade there at all hours, comparing their sumptuous outfits, speaking loudly as if they were alone in the world and deliberately ignoring any stranger. Even their domestic doudilains with glossy furs, sprinkled with precious stones, seem to observe the world around them with unbearable arrogance. It is not good to linger in this little paradise. City guards and private militias have an eye to spot the passerby whose curiosity disturbs and invite him to take his steps elsewhere!
