Military Quarters
The advent of Nin I launched the great project of the Northern Ramparts, focused on integrating the Military Quarters into the city by surrounding them with high stone walls, adorned with polished and multicolored shells.
The four imposing black granite buildings of the Barracks contrast with the relative whiteness of the walls. The 4,000 Protectors of The Holy City are quartered there. Stables, where the mounts of the cavalry of Laelith are housed and cared for, are attached to the watchtower.
Near the ramparts, there are hangars for war machines and rigging reserves, as well as the apartments of the non-commissioned officers. The senior officers and the captains of the Laelithian fleet are housed on the promontory to the south-southeast of the area, with a breathtaking view of the lake. Soldiers are permanently stationed at the end of this promontory, to react as quickly as possible in case of an alert on the docks. And the Shipyards occupy part of the cove of the Military Harbor, against the Old Ages Pier.
At the center of this area is the parade ground where the Protectors train in combat and the art of parading, to the sound of drums, horns and the occasional Cwark.
