====== The Seven-Armed Squid  ======

The Seven-Armed Squid (called the Seven by its regular customers) is one of the most famous pubs on Smugglers Wharf. It mainly serves molluscs, crustaceans and fish caught in Lake Altalith. The reputation of the brattes consommé with asparagus tips (and many other dishes served at the Seven) extends over the whole city and the six provinces, hence the name of the establishment.

===== Frequent customers =====

Every morning, one hour after sunrise, the notorious Dr Althus Quatreponts can be seen sitting at his favorite table on the patio, writing a few pages of one of his highly expected Evarilion Bombogarogan stories, such as "The case of the missing gnome" or "[[en:war_of_rose:|The war of Rose]]".

Of course, Mr Bombogarogan himself is a renowned client of the Seven.

Some people have been seen drinking tea in he company of Dr Quatreponts and Mr Bombogarogan. One is from Laelith, the others have arrived more recently. They have decided to unite their destinies to offer their services as professional adventurers. They reside at the Plump Loaf inn, on Bakers ladder, in the [[en:prosperity:prosperity|Prosperity terrace]].
