The Big Lulu
Nestled in the heart of The Fishery, in The Lakeshoe Terrace, lies an unusual and lively building: The Big Lulu. This tavern, renowned for its fish soup, is a must-visit for the inhabitants of Laelith, whether they are fishermen, sailors, or just passers-by.
The Big Lulu stands out for its robust structure, made of wood worn by salt and time. Its facade, adorned with a sign depicting a laughing woman with plump cheeks, is an invitation to conviviality. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and noisy. The solid wood tables are constantly occupied by customers who have come to taste the famous fish soup, the secret recipe of which is jealously guarded by the landlady, a strong and jovial woman who goes by the sweet name of Lulu.
The Big Lulu is also a place for meetings and exchanges. Sailors tell their sea adventures there, The Fishers discuss the best fishing techniques, and traders negotiate their deals. Despite its reputation as a poor and dirty neighborhood, The Lakeshoe houses this gem of conviviality and generosity within its heart. The Big Lulu is a symbol of the spirit of Laelith: a place where wealth is not measured in gold coins, but in shared stories and exchanged laughter.
