If this district is call the Lakepoint, it's in relationship to the point of a compass. It is truly at the center! It is the only district connected to two bridges as well as two other terraces: The Hand That Crafts and The Prosperity. The Aldermen could also claim this, but one of these bridges is that of the Dead which leads to The Punishment, does that really count?

Everything goes through the Lakepoint. Ornest Longfield, the boss of the porters, was not mistaken in setting up his Corporation there. The traffic between the Smugglers' Quay and the terraces of The Hand and The Prosperity is incessant, the tavinns are prosperous and small businesses are flourishing.

Very quickly, an informal organization of merchants, under the leadership of Ornest and Yphria (from The Thousand Flowers) was established, with the aim of ensuring the cleanliness, safety and tranquility of the district to facilitate the passage of people and goods of all kinds.
