Bio: do not be fooled by Lei Inquis' behaviour. He is not really the stern, brooding man he would like newcommers to think he is. In fact, he is just a kind, middle-aged and wise man, who happens to personnaly know lots of important persons in the four temples of Laelith. That is why he has chosen to work as a Fouineur, specialized in all things relative to religion and religious people. And even when he dabbles in important matters, he rarely looses his sense of humor. Which can be, sometimes, quite sarcastic. Lei is a very competent detective and someone you can trust… as long as you are honnest and respectful. He can help you in many ways, if you need to know which temple would be more appropriate for you, if you are looking for a long lost/stolen relic, if you are trying to meet the spiritual authorities of the city, etc. For his job, he relies on many “helpers”: tramps, pennyless pilgrims, clever children, bribable officials. He always find someone for his needs. In fact, he is known to (nearly) always find what he is looking for.

When you will visit him for the first time, Lei may ask you for some service. It is his way to test people that he meets for the first time. Do what he asks of you, and you may get a much better understanding of the spiritual mechanisms of Laelith. And - who knows? - you may even have fun!
