-In Laelith, the buildings are all marked by this touch of orientalism specific to the city. The neighborhood of The Observatory is one example, with this tuffeau stone in shades of ochre, arches and courtyards projecting colorful perspectives. The facades are pierced with slender openings, flanked by geometric or floral columns. But this neighborhood is also where history resurfaces before the eyes of the traveler who lingers on the architecture. It then becomes evident that this style, dear to Laelith, was built on the remains of much older and striking buildings. Thus, the flamboyant domes of the Meteorology & Astronomy Palace rub shoulders with the hard and dark structure of the Hospice of True Knowledge. And by understanding this, the discerning eye discovers the depth of Laelith. It is captivated by the grandeur of the present and past places. And while the astronomer eagerly throws himself onto the telescope turned towards the sky, it is the tired stroller who observes the city from above and perceives the dimension of its history.+In Laelith, the buildings are all marked by the touch of orientalism specific to the holy city.
