Located in the Upper Gardens of The Study district, in the heart of The Terrace of the Mist in Laelith, is a small Temple under construction. Nicknamed “Our Lady of the Drafts” because of its perpetually missing Walls, this building is dedicated to the monastic order of Qirta La TrèS éLevéE.

For the past ten years, the order has been working on the construction of this air Temple, but progress has been slow due to a lack of resources. Despite this, rumors are circulating in the city that recent events could change the situation. Some claim that the order has discovered a treasure while digging the foundations of the transept, while others whisper that Sirgonia, the Chief Gardener of the local superintendent, is participating in an operative magic course titled “Dominer The Hand of Man through the Roots of Nature”.

Despite the obstacles and frequent altercations between Abbot Eudes Coppercoin and Sirgonia, hope reigns within the order and the Temple of the Mist. Curious visitors flock to observe the progress of the construction and to feel the mystical aura emanating from this evolving place. The Upper Gardens, along the ancient Walls, provide a magnificent setting for this budding Temple, where scholars come to relax and students rush in with arms full of scrolls, amidst professors, scholars, and officials.

“Our Lady of the Drafts” is a symbol of the quest for spirituality and knowledge that animates The Terrace of the Mist in Laelith, a promise of an air Temple in harmony with the philosophy of the priests of the Temple of the Mist.
