Grand Theater
The Divine-Royal Grand Theatre is one of the jewels of the Prosperity terrace, in the Theater district, in Laelith. This imposing building, whose gigantic proportions and the four sculpted columns of the pediment attract the eye, is a leading public entertainment venue. Each column, the work of a different artist, represents a religious scene, creating a stylistic disharmony compensated by a mystical depth.
The Grand Theater is a meeting place for residents and pilgrims, who come to admire the shows and artistic performances. Its baroque interior honors the three muses: Calypsinthe, muse of vocal arts, Stellariane, muse of pictorial arts and Collianthe, muse of bodily arts. The covered Amphitheater, located in the heart of the Theater, hosts the most prestigious shows, while the technical premises spread over three floors ensure the smooth operation of the place.
The programming of the Grand Theater is varied and eclectic, ranging from concerts to operas, through the Theater plays and oratorical jousts. These latter, called “clerical duels”, are debates between priests to determine the attachment of a cult to one of the four Temples of Laelith.
In short, the Divine-Royal Grand Theatre is a place of culture, entertainment and spirituality, which contributes to the animation and The Prosperity of The Prosperity Terrace.
