The Mill

At the heart of The Terrace of the Punishment, in the district of Temple of the Elders, stands an unusual building: The Mill. It is a place of relentless work, where flour is produced day and night, feeding the bakers of the district despite the cursed atmosphere that prevails there.

The Mill is an imposing building, built with the grey and dark stones of the surrounding ruins. Its massive structure is dominated by a large water wheel, which turns tirelessly, driven by a diverted underground Rivulet. The stone millstones inside grind and creak incessantly, transforming the grains into precious flour.

Despite its location in the most cursed district of Laelith, The Mill is a place of life and activity. The millers, hardened outcasts, work tirelessly, indifferent to the whispers of the statues and the sudden changes in the architecture of the district. They are respected, even feared, for their ability to survive in such a hostile environment.

The Mill is also a place of trade. The bags of flour produced are exchanged for essential goods, allowing the inhabitants of the district to survive despite the difficult conditions. It is a place of resilience and perseverance, a symbol of the human will to survive and prosper, even in the most inhospitable places.
