-The Snail-Sire is a picturesque and intriguing building located in the Temple of the Elders district, within The Terrace of the Punishment. Despite the cursed atmosphere of the Terrace, this building stands out for its unique character and quirky charm. Its unusual name comes from its spiral shape, reminiscent of a snail, which gives it a singular and mysterious appearance.
+It is under the strange gaze of a bas-relief that the drunks of the Fevers Tree tent village gather. A plank balanced between two masonry stumps and you find yourself in the only tavern in the vicinity.
+The stone eyes of a crowned snail stare without understanding at a whole assembly of drunkards, castaways, and self-proclaimed scholars who try to tame their fears and their malaise with copious amounts of improvised spirits.
-The Snail-Sire is both a place of commerce and residence. On the ground floor, there is an eclectic shop that sells curious objects and ancient relics, attracting collectors and the curious from all over the city. The upper floors, accessible by a spiral staircase, are residences for the inhabitants of the district. These apartments, although modest, offer a breathtaking view of the ruins of the Temple of the Elders and the rest of The Terrace of the Punishment.
