Barefoot's Canvas Chapel

In the heart of the Fevers Tree district, on the cursed Terrace of the Punishment, stands a relic of faith and devotion: the Barefoot's Canvas Chapel. This humble construction, barely more than a ruin, is a poignant symbol of human resilience in the face of adversity.

Made of shaky wooden planks and worn waxed canvases, the chapel stands proudly despite its dilapidated appearance. Its walls are stained by time and weather, and its roof is torn in several places, letting in rays of light that illuminate the interior of the chapel in an almost divine way.

Inside, the air is heavy with incense and whispered prayers. Flickering candles illuminate the emaciated faces of the outcasts and the destitute who come to seek some spiritual comfort in this unlikely place of worship. In the center, a rudimentary altar is set up, on which are placed offerings of food and small precious objects.

The Barefoot's Canvas Chapel is a place of worship for the most destitute of The Terrace of the Punishment. Despite its modest appearance and precarious situation, it is a beacon of hope for those who have lost everything. It testifies to man's ability to find beauty and spirituality even in the darkest and most desperate places of Laelith.
