The Inky Guardhouse, located in the district of The Reconquest on The Terrace of the Punishment, is an imposing military building, nestled in the heart of the Ladder in the Sky. It is a bastion of stability in this constantly changing neighborhood, a symbol of the order that the God-King Nin I is trying to impose in this chaotic area.

The post is a massive structure, built with stones sanctified by the four temples, which seem to resist the surrounding madness of the Punishment. It is constantly guarded by a squad of devoted soldiers, ready to intervene at the slightest alert. Inside, there is a reception room, a Duty Room for taxes, a kitchen for the guards, a weapons room for training, and an infirmary for the wounded.

The office of the Rahel, the Chief of the post, is a comfortable room where important decisions are made. This is where patrol shifts are established and instructions for task distribution are prepared. The Rahel also receives important people or snoops in this office.
