| Located in the district of The Reconquest, within The Terrace of the Punishment, The Wet Whistle is a Tavinn that has managed to carve out a place in the chaotic landscape of Laelith. Nestled in the heart of the Glint Passage, this baroque, sometimes limping building, stands out for its unique atmosphere. | Sis at the bottom of Glint Passage, The Wet Whistle is a trendy Tavinn. Its owner, Gustave Babedec, Known as the Gastrolab, a former cook of the previous God-King, settled in an abandoned mansion in the Punishment, still somewhat spoiled by the humidity from the old baths of the building, despite the renovation work. |
| |
| Inside, the mismatched furniture and cracked frescoes bear witness to the turbulent history of the place. The chandelier made of Dragon Glass, a survivor from the old apartments of the owner, Babedec, adds a touch of solemnity to the whole. It is in this dining room that customers, their faces marked by life, come to savor dishes carefully prepared by a diverse team of trainee cooks. | Accompanied by a few rare employees who worked with him at The High Terrace, Babedec hired citizens of the cursed Terrace to try to train them with the help of the great Brumaire, his faithful sous-chef. Many assistants vanish into thin air without even claiming their wages. However, a handful of them remain: Rudo, Lenfeloo, and the sommelier Redfur lodge in the boys' dormitory, while Condamine and Rhazali, the saucier, sleep on a landing on the top floor. |
| |
| Above the Tavinn, a dormitory accommodates these apprentice cooks, each with their own character and secrets. Among them are Rudo the rogue, Lenfeloo the glutton, Condamine the spy, Rhazali the devoted saucier, and Redfur, the naive sommelier. | Inside, the disparate furniture and cracked frescoes testify to the turbulent history of the place. The chandelier in Dragon Glass, a survivor from the owner's former apartments, and the paintings bought here and there by Babedec add a touch of solemnity to the whole. It is in this dining room that customers, with faces marked by life, come to savor dishes carefully prepared by the eclectic team of trainees. |

| Finally, the Tavinn of the Damne-Gosier is in the process of equipping itself with a landing platform on its roof-Terrace. Intended to accommodate flying machines and animals, it promises to make the Damne-Gosier a must-visit stopover for all those who dare to venture into The Terrace of the Punishment. | In addition to the kitchens and dining room, the personnel bustle around a large smoking room. Occasionally, strange adventurers carrying bloody carcasses can be seen, not using the main door but the service entrance that opens onto Cats Alley. |
| |
| The Wet Whistle is therefore more than just a Tavinn, it's a place of life, a refuge in the chaos, where everyone can find a bit of comfort and, perhaps, a glimmer of hope. | Finally, the Tavinn of the Wet Whistle is in the process of acquiring a landing platform on its rooftop. Intended to accommodate flying machines and animals, it promises to make the Wet Whistle an essential stop for all those who dare to venture into The Terrace of the Punishment. |
