This is an old revision of the document!

The Wet Whistle

Sis at the bottom of Glint Passage, The Wet Whistle is a trendy Tavinn. Its owner, Gustave Babedec, Known as the Gastrolab, a former cook of the previous God-King, settled in an abandoned mansion in the Punishment, still somewhat spoiled by the humidity from the old baths of the building, despite the renovation work.

Accompanied by a few rare employees who worked with him at The High Terrace, Babedec hired citizens of the cursed Terrace to try to train them with the help of the great Brumaire, his faithful sous-chef. Many assistants vanish into thin air without even claiming their wages. However, a handful of them remain: Rudo, Lenfeloo, and the sommelier Redfur lodge in the boys' dormitory, while Condamine and Rhazali, the saucier, sleep on a landing on the top floor.

Inside, the disparate furniture and cracked frescoes testify to the turbulent history of the place. The chandelier in Dragon Glass, a survivor from the owner's former apartments, and the paintings bought here and there by Babedec add a touch of solemnity to the whole. It is in this dining room that customers, with faces marked by life, come to savor dishes carefully prepared by the eclectic team of trainees.

In addition to the kitchens and dining room, the Personnel bustle around a large smoking room. Strange adventurers carrying bloody carcasses are sometimes seen there.

Finally, the Tavinn of the Wet Whistle is in the process of acquiring a landing platform on its rooftop. Intended to accommodate flying machines and animals, it promises to make the Wet Whistle an essential stop for all those who dare to venture into The Terrace of the Punishment.
