Its name would come from the offerings thrown into the torrent, jewelry, coins and trinkets that would remain lodged in the crevices of the rocks, making it shine with a thousand sparks at sunset. The dwarf population, which settled below the falls, dug numerous galleries in the cliff, sometimes close to the places where the most beautiful offerings to the torrent were lodged. The Laelithian authorities then demanded that these tunnels be closed. Which was done promptly.
