This community, located southeast of the Holy City near the shores of the Blackened Houses, barely welcomes the semi-aquatic people of the Utruz huddling in a few hundred huts. Its inhabitants live miserably from fishing, shellfish farming, and crafting with dried seaweed. They rarely leave this lakeside village, except to fish or sell what they produce in the Holy City without lingering.

Indeed, some Laelithian people cultivate a detestable image of these tall scaly warm-blooded humanoids with webbed feet and hands, and a height that exceeds 2 meters. They describe them as primitive, lazy, indolent, and even idiots, sometimes using even more racist and offensive terms.

This is a poor understanding of the ancient culture and history of these wise beings, the contemplative vision they have of the world around them, particularly of the Lake Altalith that they worship with harmony, respect, and simplicity.
