God-King Palace

The God-King Palace, located in the prestigious district of The High Terrace, is a symbol of power and majesty in Laelith. Dominating the city with its imposing stature, this monumental palace is an architectural chief masterpiece, with its elegant towers that seem to want to pierce the clouds and its bronze doors enhanced with gold and onyx.

The main entrance, accessible by a flight of stairs, is adorned with two gigantic bronze doors enhanced with gold and onyx, rarely used to enter the palace. Above these doors, a balcony offers the God-King an ideal viewpoint to greet the crowd.

Inside, the palace houses many places of interest, including the God-King Library, the Inner Council Chamber, the Office of the Grand Chamberlain and the famous Hall of the Wave. The Inner Palace, a true palace within the palace, houses the private apartments of the God-King and a hundred devoted servants.

Despite its splendor, the palace bears the scars of past centuries. The southern part, decrepit and covered with dull ivy, bears the traces of a fire and is avoided by the shedras.

The God-King Palace, with its grandeur and mysteries, is an emblematic place of Laelith, a witness to the overwhelming power that resides in this city.
