The Cellules are an imposing military building located in the district of the Pénitents, on The Lakeshoe in Laelith. The exterior of the building is austere, with rough stone walls and barred windows. Inside, the Cellules are a labyrinth of dark corridors and austere rooms. The cells themselves are small and spartan, with straw beds and buckets for natural needs. The atmosphere is heavy and oppressive, imbued with the fear and desolation of those who are locked up there.
