====== The Study ======

Along with the Temple district, the Study is the most visited district of the Mist. This is where travelers from around the world come to quench their thirst for knowledge at the Universal Materialist Library, with its hundred thousand books that make it the most majestic place of knowledge. Scholars also come to the Study to take courses at the Universal Materialist University, which is said to train scholars from around the world and high-ranking officials of the royal-divine administration. The whole area is surrounded by numerous shops on the Ladder of Knowledge where books and supplies are sold.

Long ancient ramparts, the Walls, separate the southern part of the Mist from the Prosperity. Along these fortifications, the Upper Gardens form a magnificent park where everyone loves to come in the morning. It is both a place of relaxation for scholars taking a break from their quest for knowledge, and a frenetic space for hordes of students who come and go with their arms full of scrolls amidst professors, scholars, and officials.
