It's not just people who get lost in The Punishment. Time also loses its way there. A day, a century, everything converges there and if you believe the locals, there are even certain corners that death forgets, all busy as it is circling around in the neighborhood of The Bad Weathertime like a disoriented bear in a cage of dimensions that elude it.

The weather there is also more than capricious, a deluge can turn a Ladder into a torrent when everything dries up and bakes under a sick sun just one street away. There's even talk of an alley where rain seeps from the stones to rise towards the sky… But nothing surprises anymore in The Punishment.
