The Vorn's Cliff

This immense cliff, over 1400 meters high, is the eastern part of the geological Great Fault that borders the entire west of Laelith.

The narrow and steep mountain path that winds along it has, on one end, a rich Dwarven Colony at the bottom of the gorge, and on the other end, at the top of the wall, the Camp of the Long Forbearance which leads to the Gate of the Delightful Ecstasy and therefore to the essential Lazaret.

More than the Long Roundabout Road or the arrival by the lake, this precipice is the preferred access through which the majority of the two thousand travelers who enter or leave The Holy City pass day after day. But to travel these endless switchbacks, you will need at least six to seven hours of an exhausting and dangerous journey, both uphill and downhill, which makes the rest stops essential. These stops are provided at the numerous supply, rest, or care points that dot the road. They are also discreet guard posts, complementing the surveillance provided by the very mysterious and ambiguous White Brotherhood.
