This community, located southeast of The Holy City near the shore of The Blackened Houses, modestly welcomes the semi-aquatic people of the Utruz into a few hundred huts. Its inhabitants live miserably off fishing, shellfish farming, and crafting from dried seaweed. They rarely leave this lakeside village except to fish or sell what they produce in the City without lingering. Indeed, some Laelithian cultivate a detestable image of these large scaly humanoids whose height exceeds 2 meters, with warm blood, and webbed feet and hands. They label them as primitive, lazy, indolent, or even stupid, sometimes going as far as to use offensive, even more racist terms. This is a poor understanding of the ancient culture and history of these great sages, the contemplative view they have of the world around them, particularly of the Lake Altalith which they venerate with harmony, respect, and simplicity.
