The Thousand Flowers
Some uncharitable minds dare suggest that the true motivation of many a pilgrim to the Mystic City (I am talking of those of means, not the kind who begs or travels on foot) might be the visit of a certain establishment in its most infamous terrace in the Holy City: I named the House of a Thousand Flowers, on Smugglers' Quay in the Lakeshoe.
Service above all
Since its opening, this house has offered Laelith everything an individual might desire, regardless of age, sex, race, eye color, beard or number of toes:
A fine gourmet meal? To be tasted on the spot or to learn to savor all of its nuances straight from the heirs of famous cook Heriaz d'Esharzy, made Baron of Smugglers Wharf by Cemaldir VII; the best cooks from the eight continents pay a fortune to learn the art of satisfying the most delicate palates here.
Jugglers balancing flesh-eating turtles in mid-air? A burlesque review? A table of triples or your favorite dice game? A perfume to captivate the she, or the he, whose looks you cannot forget? A discreet nest to shelter illicit loves?
Everything is possible at the House of a Thousand Flowers, it's only a question of price… or luck…
